For more than 35 years, I’ve watched beauty trends come and go. Some promised miracles, others relied on ever-stronger actives… and it was often the skin that paid the price. What I look for, for my clients, is the opposite: visible results, without ever rushing the skin. That’s exactly what I found in Davincia®.
A brand born in the Laurentians
Davincia® was founded by Nathalie Forget, a naturopath. She lived with acne herself as a teenager, a path that led her to study nutrition, health sciences, naturopathy and esthetics, and then to a simple question: what if we worked with the skin instead of against it?
That question led to more than seven years of research and development, and then to the Biocompatible® Treatment, a patented facial. Today, Davincia products are designed and made in Québec, in Saint-Jérôme, close to home. I love being able to recommend skincare from here, whose origins I know.
What does “biocompatible” mean?
Your skin is a living organ. On its surface lives a whole community of micro-organisms, the skin flora, which plays a role somewhat like that of the gut flora: it contributes to the skin’s balance and to its natural defences.
A biocompatible product is designed to work with the skin’s natural mechanisms, without disrupting them. At Davincia, that means:
- formulas free of toxic ingredients and irritating agents;
- prebiotics and probiotics in several products, to nourish the skin flora;
- sun protection with mineral filters only, no chemical filters and no nanoparticles;
- an approach that aims to strengthen the skin barrier over the long term, rather than a quick jolt.

My Davincia routine, step by step
No need to buy everything at once! Here’s how I build a simple routine, which I then adjust to your skin.
- Cleanse, morning and evening, with Purifica foam. Gentle, it removes eye makeup too.
- Exfoliate once a week with Exfolia, a triple-action mineral exfoliant.
- Refresh with Luvya, a toning, energizing mist.
- Target what concerns you: Idrata to hydrate and plump, Calma for redness-prone skin, Crystal for the look of dark spots, Curativo for acne-prone skin, or Serum V for signs of aging.
- The eye area: Mirada wrinkle-filling or Mirada dark circles and puffiness.
- Moisturize with Bioconfort, or Vitalita for a firming effect.
- Protect, every morning, with Sunbrella mineral sunscreen.
And once a week, I treat myself to a mask: Aqua, with collagen, to plump, or Pro Bio, with probiotics, for revitalized skin.
